ReplyDeleteOk so hmmmm, I like the smell of tropical rainforests, hibiscus flowers, mangos and vanilla, and I think they'd smell good together so the final result:

stariearth@hotmail.com
Beach Time Banana Split- It would have the sweet smell of bananas and chocolate. Combined with the familiar scent of cocoa butter and maybe a hint of mint to remind people of ice cream and trying to get cool in the Summer time. :)
ReplyDeletebrainkandy84@yahoo.com
My most peculiar and yet delightful blend would be the capture of a southern garden during summer. The main scent would be woodruff, it has a new mown hay scent, but just a tad sweeter. The next layer would be gardenia, magnolia and Angel Trumpets (if someone could actually capture their scent...if you havent smelled one, you have not lived!) the final hints would be a tiny hint of rose, sage, pine, and a tiny hint of citrus and mint.
ReplyDeleteIts a lot, but the blend would be spectacular
azhuresjewels@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteIf I could capture it - it would be the smell of eathy deep foresty woods, creeping up from deep in the valley on a cool wind, fresh and cool and earthy, mysterious.... ancient. You can hear the bull frogs singing in the fresh summer night air... If only I could bottle that I would bring it to you!
ReplyDeleteI think if I were to pick a scent, it would be a mixture of a light and subtle musk with the sharp pungeancy of cloves, and the smell of fallen Autumn leaves. Oh yes.
ReplyDeleteLemon + Chamomille + Gingerbread.
ReplyDeleteIt would be invigorating and relaxing at the same time. YES PLEASE.
I can smell it from here!
p.s: it's maytel from deviantart :D

ReplyDeleteOr... it might backfire, and attract McDonalds Fiends. Oh noes!!!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to smell of Tea and Biscuits.

Honeysuckle and Orange Blossom, aka Honey Blossom
ReplyDeleteclogzilla (at) gmail (dot) com
hmmmm Does it have to be realistic? Hopefully not! The smell of the air just a few minutes right before you know it is going to thunderstorm (which smells the same when it is thunderstorming, but you don't get wet) with the smell of an old, yellowed, book (it must be one of your favorites!) and the scent of fresh brewed chai tea mixed with cinnomon and honey. ^^ those days make me happy!
ReplyDeleteThe names Suzanne, and in case out of the blue and random I happen to win! I can be contacted at Scuzie [at] sbcglobal [dot] net :D Good luck everyone!
I would say orange blossoms with vanilla and honey. That would be amazingly delicious, but I think orange blossoms alone are enough =) The vanilla is to make it creamy/dreamy, and the honey to enhance it all. Woo!
ReplyDelete-Rini (RiniSapphire over at deviant Art)
http://rinisapphire.deviantart.com/
Oh, my gosh! that blew me away....Suzanne!!! I love the smell of old books and that magical smell and feel in the air before it storms!!!!!
ReplyDeletereally cool :)
chai tea cinnamon and honey- wow!!!
Keep them creative dreamy fragrances coming guys- this is so fun!! I love to hear what people would love in a fragrance :)
-and how in the heck will we ever decide on a winner- these all sound so amazing and surprisingly fresh :)
Milk Chocolate Creamy Rice Pudding with Cherry Drizzle! :P
ReplyDeleteI know it's not a food scent, but nothing says summer to me like an ocean~salt water scent. The scent of being on vacation, walking along the beach, no cares, sunshine and turquoise seas, sparkling skies. True heaven. Mermaids and seagulls singing in shades of blue. A treasure found in the sand.

Strawberry Shortcake with vanilla whipped cream.
ReplyDeleteS_Chewy_B@yahoo.com
I know it's simple, but sometimes the simplest things are the best like my all-time favorite dessert... strawberry rhubarb pie with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. I'm drooling already, lol! :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteaimeesavon(at)hotmail(dot)com
This may sound really simple but warm cocoa butter and freshly ground almonds drizzled with melted dark chocolate swirls bespeckled with sprinkled vanilla on top.
ReplyDeletemmmmMMmmm.
ziggy4ever2000@aol.com
I would take a page from some of the finest chocolatiers and do a "cinnamon-dark chocolate-pink peppercorn" combination. Peppercorn can really bring out the subtle notes of fine chocolate. And what better scent to wear, just to please yourself, on a rainy day when you're PMS'ing...warm, sweet, and spicy.
ReplyDeletegeneralstore@rogers.com
Since the store is called" Verbena Custom Blends", I think incorporating verbena with an array of citrus fruits and some coconut would make an awesome spring/summer-y scent!
ReplyDeleteallison_chiasson@hotmail.com
I was thinking something sweet like lilac with another sweet scent like pikake. Then mixing it up with a citrus scent like orange. Although I can't say what it would actualy smell like. I'm guessing it would be very sweet, yet energizing at the same time. :D
ReplyDeletexenarena@hotmail.com
A great scent to dive the guys crazy would be Pumpkin, with a lavender undertone, perfect together. ashermunin@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteWhat about Mint chocolate chip cookie dough. Cookie dough is one of my favorite smells and I tink the mint chocolate chip would go good with that!!!!
ReplyDeletelydia_nunrg@hotmail.com
I really really like rosemary mint anything. Did I mention I really like rosemary mint?
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of coffee, but don't drink it, just love the smell. So I would have to say a coffee, chai, caramel, vanilla with maybe a hint of chocolate would be divine. sugar_end@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteCotton Candy wih lavender, orange, mango, and of course caramel!Sleeping-banana
ReplyDeletemint, strawberry and chocolate with a hint of honey ♥
ReplyDelete(memwa from deviantart.)
Not very original but I'm dreaming on a fragrance with Blackberry - Vanilla (from my island Reunion so Bourbon) and Marshamallow ! Not very summery but I'd love to find these scents melted anytime of the year (it's almost always around here hehe).
ReplyDeleteVal valerie.prugnieres [@] laposte [dot] net
Fresh baked apple cinnamon pie with a side of vanilla ice cream ;)

Fresh Marshmallow & Patchouli
ReplyDeleteblueberrycoconut@live.com
etsy - coconutcookiebar
Mmmm, there is nothing like the scent of a warm steamy mug of milky hazelnut hot chocolate, spiced with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, vanilla beans, and topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. Maybe with a hint of patchouli and teakwood to ground the sweetness a bit and make it more complex.

I have two ideas, both that I would personally love to have:
ReplyDeleteLilac/Lavender
or
Pure Grapefruit (like the scent of one freshly sliced.)
Just thought of another one:
ReplyDeleteMimosa
Vanilla and/or Freesia
ReplyDeleteAnything food scented! The closer it is to baked goods the better! Cinnamon Sugar Cookie would be amazing, Fresh Baked Brownie (the smell of dark chocolate brownies baking) MMMMM! Yumm!
ReplyDeleteDecadent White Chocolate Cherry. Yummy!
ReplyDeletexxbetweenxxbreathsxx@mindless.com
Oh wow, what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt would be absoloutley heavenly if you introduced a strawberries and champagne scent! Yum!
petitebijoux@mymelody.com
I truly think that placing
ReplyDeleteLAVENDER and PUMPKIN
would be perfect. It sounds odd, but the spice of pumpkin mixed with the soothing scent of lavender would rock.
I went running in Charlottesville, VA a couple weeks ago, and loved the smell, with all the honeysuckle blooming. It was a conference, and right before graduation, so they had done a lot of maintenance on the grounds, so I would say, Honeysuckle, Fresh Cut Grass, with a faint base note of Fresh Mulch.
ReplyDeleteSmells green, welcoming, and like the early morning.
Dark chocolate, orange with a little lime, and ginger. Also an awesome candy bar!
ReplyDeletejooliep@hotmail.com
Orange, Lime, and Pomegranate...
ReplyDeletekristamzerby@yahoo.com
pineapples with just a touch of coconut. :)
ReplyDeletejharder@siue.edu
roses, strawberries, and chardonnay. and maybe with a drizzle of honey too. sexy and sweet!
ReplyDeleteOkay - everyone likes food, but I also like vacations. Pikaki and Jasmine is my vote. It's very hard to find anything with Pikaki. Very tropical - great for summer.
ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure if you can give more than one suggestion but I had another idea and liked this one better than my last (:
ReplyDeleteGrapefruit, Jasmine, and Mango (: It's so refreshing and crisp and summery, it's great. I normally wear Jasmine scents with an addition of citrus fruits so yeah, it really is a lovely combination (:
( anji-was-here.deviantart.com again :D' )
Almond vanilla latte sounds numtastic to me! :-)
ReplyDeleteJasmine vanilla cream cake :)
ReplyDeleteCinnamon Banana Mango!
ReplyDeleteOh my, this is so fun~! ^^ I love reading through these entries. I know each person only gets one entry, so for my official suggestion I'm going to put one that I think would have more mass appeal, but then I'm going to put a scent I'd just love to see in general. My email is jcampbell atcogswell dotedu.
ReplyDeleteOfficial entry: I love making a delightful hot chocolate variant for my friends on cold CA nights. First I put in the chocolate, then add Bailey's Irish Cream, Malibu Coconut Rum, a touch of Vanilla vodka, and a hearty dose of cinnamon. Frothed milk (no water!) is then blended in. It warms you down to the cockles, and is a popular request from friends who are feeling down or just having a bad day. Imagine what a luxury that smell would be in the morning shower~! Dominant scents of dark chocolate and cinnamon, with middle notes of Irish Cream (or whatever comes closest, maybe buttercream?) and coconut, and undertones of milk and vanilla. Yum ^^
As for something I'd just generally love to see in the future: I'm a huge sucker for Cinnamon, so that would be the dominant scent. Middle notes of vanilla, honeysuckle, and grapefruit with an undertone of mint. Mrrrr =^..^=
pineapple, lily-of-the-valley, and raspberries
ReplyDeleteo and the above comment is from me, and if i win (cross fingers) you can contact me at embleopard13@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI think everyone pretty much covered food smells, but one smell that always takes me back is PLAY-DOH!!! I keep a small tub of it at my desk at work (I swiped it from my kids), and whenever I want to be happy, I smell away! I know they sell Play-Doh cologne via a website (can't think of it now), maybe an idea can be formed!! Good luck! :)
